The 12th Annual Winemakers’ Celebration
Nothing says “celebration” more emphatically than shared enjoyment of award-winning wines. In Monterey County, they observe their winemaking heritage and rejoice in the modern-day winemaking art on one, spectacular summer afternoon! The Monterey County Vintners and Growers Associations 12th Annual Winemakers’ Celebration is Saturday, August 21, noon to four, at the Historic Custom House Plaza in downtown Monterey. Over 40 Monterey County wineries showcase their world-class wines in a famous-beautiful setting, complete with live music, dancing, great food and fun! Experience elements of the process in creating fine wines - such as barrel-building – and even learn to blend your own wine! Bid on old vintages, rare bottles, big bottles, VIP winery tours, winemaker dinners, wine art and more...in an extraordinary silent auction. Enjoy gourmet foods from the Monterey peninsula’s most-acclaimed restaurants and caterers.
