The Nebuchadnezzar, the world's previous largest large format bottle at 15 liters, has been dethroned. Beringer Vineyards and Morton's restaurants have just created the largest wine bottle in the world. Made official by Guinness World Records, at 4-feet-5-inches high, the new "Maximus" holds 130 liters (about 1,000 glasses) of Beringer's 2001 Private Reserve Cab.

CUESA (the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture) will hold its annual Sunday Supper fundraising dinner on October 17th in San Francisco. Over 40 favorite chefs will prepare a fabulous meal with food grown from the farmers in our celebrated Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Tickets are $150, and include a reception and dinner.
