Ken Margolis
Ken Margolis, (ken@kenmargolis.com), is a veteran computer and music industry marketing executive. Prior to forming Ken Margolis Associates -- a company specializing in advertising sales, marketing consulting, and high-tech public relations -- in 1994, Ken held the position of Vice President of Sales at Computer Currents magazine for ten years, where he was a driving force in the development of successful sales and marketing programs for the publication and its advertisers. He has provided marketing and promotion services for Microsoft, Activision, Quarterdeck Office Systems, IBM, AMD, PolyGram Records and Epitaph Records. He has been responsible for arranging strategic alliances with major corporations, developing competitive strategies and collateral materials. In addition, he has produced dozens of events involving such artists as Steve Miller, Yanni, John Lee Hooker and Robert Cray. Ken has been a pioneer in the Internet industry. In April, 1995, he produced the first major online fundraising auction for the Save the Earth Foundation.
